Alabama's Volunteer Recruitment Toolkit 

The Alabama SHIP participated in the 2007-2008 cohort of Collaborative State Project. The project's main goal was to increase the number of volunteers. Faced with the challenge of covering vast, multi-county regions, Alabama's Regional SHIP Coordinators wanted to create recruitment materials that volunteer recruiters could use with a variety of audiences. 

The SHIP team members worked with HAP to revise existing materials and to create new resources.  The result was a package of resources, a Recruiter’s Toolkit, that Regional Coordinators and their volunteer recruiters can use to attract potential volunteers to the SHIP program.
