Virginia SHIP Program |
The Virginia SHIP program recognized that before they could begin engaging new volunteers, they first needed materials to help recruit them. So HAP collaborated with them to develop and design resources that help coordinators recruit, screen, and train new volunteers. What developed was a customized recruitment toolkit which offers resources to help SHIPs enlist new volunteers and provide a stronger foundation for the volunteer program. It includes a recruitment brochure, volunteer job descriptions, an application, and a volunteer agreement.
