| Minority Health Track |
For the second year in a row, Families USA is pleased to offer a track that will focus on minority health issues, including policy and grassroots efforts to eliminate racial and ethnic health disparities. Come learn about activities at the national, state, and local level to address health disparities; meet advocates from around the country engaged in this work; and reconnect with colleagues in the field. This year's track will feature discussions on: integrating health equity in state health reform, health care coverage for immigrants, minority health coalitions, ethnic media, language access, and special populations. We'll also offer a networking reception and viewing of the upcoming PBS documentary series, "Unnatural Causes: Is Inequality Making us Sick?" |
