Radio Row, a feature of Families USA’s annual Health Action Conference in Washington DC, scored a great success at the 13th annual gathering in January. Broadcasting live from the lobby of the Mayflower Hotel, more than 20 news and talk radio hosts – including some of the leading progressive voices in radio – reached an audience estimated at almost six million listeners!

For two full days this year Radio Row hosts – including Rachel Maddow, Lionel, Bev Smith, Jon Elliot and Peter B. Collins – held more than 343 interviews with such guests as former Majority Leader Tom Daschle, Sen. Blanche Lincoln, former Gov. Warner, Dr. Richard Wender, Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, Paul Begala and Celinda Lake. These are some of voices at the heart of the national health care debate, and Radio Row was there to share the story.
