Families USA and our annual meeting co-sponsors are pleased to announce Health Action 2010, the conference for consumer health advocates. The meeting will be held at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC from January 28-30, 2010.
Last year, the conference drew approximately 800 participants from more than 40 states. Previous speakers at our conferences have included Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton; Vice President Al Gore; Senators Ted Kennedy, Hillary Clinton, and Tom Daschle; Surgeon General David Satcher; and many others.
The debate over health reform will wrap up soon—one way or another—and we’ll have our work cut out for us. We hope you can join us at Health Action 2010 to learn more about the legislation, share field strategies with advocates from across the country, and gear up for the year ahead.
Early-bird registration for Health Action 2010 is $395. After December 31, 2009, registration is $445. For more information, please visit www.familiesusa.org/conference/ or write or call Families USA: 1201 New York Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20005, 202-628-3030, field@familiesusa.org. Thank you and hope to see you there.
Health Action 2010 is being organized by Families USA, the national health consumer group, in cooperation with a wide range of national organizations.
