Families USA Fellowship Opportunities
Families USA sponsors two one-year fellowships:
1. The Wellstone Fellowship for Social Justice
2. The Villers Fellowship for Health Care Justice
Each year, one person is chosen for each of these fellowships through a competitive process, and the selected fellows work in Families USA' Washington, DC office for one year, beginning in late summer or fall.
Applications for the 2010-2011 fellowships will be available in September 2009.

The Wellstone Fellowship The Wellstone Fellowship for Social Justice is designed to foster the advancement of social justice through participation in health care advocacy work that focuses on the unique challenges facing many communities of color.The Wellstone fellow works with Families USA's Minority Health Initiative.
The Villers Fellowship Villers Fellows will be given the opportunity to work on a variety of health care justice issues during their year-long tenure. They will be exposed to different advocacy strategies, including producing analytic reports, disseminating effective messages through the media, successful coalition building, e-advocacy techniques and an understanding of the federal legislative process. The Villers fellow works in Families USA's Health Policy department.
