Events

"When an Apple a Day Isn't Enough" National Essay Contest for ages 9-18
The contest was a huge success, with more than 4,500 entries! Congratulations to our two grand prize winners: Colleen Brady (age 13) from Hilliard, Ohio and Jonathan Hale (age 17) from Windham, New Hampshire. About the Contest l Winning Essays. For a small donation of $15, you will receive the publication "When an Apple a Day Isn't Enough: Students Speak Out about Health Care Coverage." This publication includes the prize-winning essays from students all over the United States.

The National Town Hall Meeting on Children's Health Coverage was held January 11, 2007, and was broadcast via satellite to 36 local meetings across the country.
