Other Issues
Beyond cost and coverage, there are other issues that affect access to affordable long-term services. In order to both improve the quality of long-term care and manage its costs, we need an adequate workforce, available and appropriate housing options, and a better overall understanding of long-term care.
This section provides an overview of these issues and looks at how other countries are dealing with the growing demand for long-term services and managing and financing those services.
