Starting in October of this year, millions of uninsured Americans will be able to apply for affordable, quality health coverage through their states’ health insurance marketplaces.

Developing a robust outreach and enrollment program is essential to ensuring that we get the most out of the first open enrollment period. It will also be necessary to fully engage communities of color who have so much to gain from new coverage options. To help you in your outreach efforts, Families USA held a webcast to discuss tactics for successfully engaging uninsured people, particularly those in communities of color, in order to get them enrolled in a health insurance plan that meets their needs.
