Conservatives have amplified their power by making effective use of the megaphone of talk radio. For those of us who support progressive solutions, like the recent health reform law, talk radio is one way we can reach our fellow Americans. And it’s also a way we can "talk back" instead of letting our opponents dominate the airwaves.
Thanks to health reform, no American ever can be denied coverage due to a pre-existing condition, families will have the safety net they’ve long been waiting for, and insurance companies finally will be held accountable for putting profits before people. But, even with all of these new consumer protections, opponents of reform want to repeal or undermine the law—often purely for political purposes. We need your help to fight back.
To help you do that, we've compiled a list of nationally syndicated radio shows. And we've started a list of local radio shows that includes the name of the show, the station, and the time and number to call. Because we're in the process of building this list, most of the information comes from 34 states (see below). We'll be adding information for the remaining states as quickly as we can—or as soon as YOU send it to us. (Click here if you have information on other shows that we should add to our list.)
