Lower Health Care Costs Now
Last Updated on October 24, 2025
Health care costs are skyrocketing and Congress must do something to stop it. Instead of addressing the high cost of health care this year, Republicans in Congress and President Trump passed a budget bill that slashed funding for our health care, created more barriers to coverage and enacted policies that will directly increase premiums and out-of-pocket costs for all of us.
Republican leadership failed us by refusing to make the enhanced tax credits that make health insurance more affordable for over 20 million individuals and families permanent. Congress must act before the end of the year to make the enhanced tax credits permanent and prevent skyrocketing costs for millions.
People want health care to be more affordable. Join Families USA, Community Catalyst, and other national and state partners in urging Congress to make enhanced tax credits permanent, reverse health care cuts and lower health care costs now.
