Communications Coordinator

Tess Herdman is the Communications Coordinator at Families USA, where she supports digital communications, social media, and media outreach efforts to promote the organization’s mission of advancing quality and affordable health care for all. Tess brings valuable experience from roles at Brady: United Against Gun Violence and the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, where she developed grassroots outreach strategies and assisted with rapid-response communications. With a strong foundation in digital storytelling and advocacy, Tess is passionate about connecting diverse audiences to Families USA’s mission. She holds an MA in Ethics, Peace, and Human Rights and a BA in International Studies from American University.
