Cheryl Fish-Parcham is Director of Access Initiatives at Families USA, where she focuses on policies that would improve access to coverage and care, including those related to oral health and behavioral health services. Fish-Parcham serves on advisory committees to the DC Department of Insurance and the DC Health Care Ombudsman. She has previously served as Families USA’s Associate Director of Health Policy and helped establish the Health Assistance Partnership (HAP), a national support center for consumer health assistance programs. Earlier in her career, Fish-Parcham worked as an advocate at AARP’s Legal Counsel for the Elderly and served as an advocate, administrator, and social worker for several community organizations. Fish-Parcham holds a BA from the University of California, Santa Cruz and an MSW from Howard University.
